Josh Caudill enters his Third year as part of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin Men’s and Women’s Cross Country programs and enters his first year as the head Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams. He also serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Women’s Basketball team.
Coach Caudill competed at UTSA for one year in Cross Country before transferring to the University of Texas of the Permian to complete his three years of eligibility on the Men’s Cross Country Team. While an athlete at UTPB he was awarded Red River Academic Team and also received the Coaches award. Coach Caudill is a Level I Certified USA Track and Field Coach. He is also a certified Athletic Republic Sport Specific Trainer at Next Level Fitness. Coach Caudill is a member of the Permian Basin Road Runners Club and is also a member of USA Track and Field. Caudill has been the Graduate Assistant at the University of Texas of the Permian basin for the previous two seasons.
He graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a B.S. Exercise Science and Human Performance 2007 and is in the progress of completing his M.S. in Sport Administration 2009. Caudill was a three-year letter winner and team captain in cross country at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin,

My Main philosophy of coaching is to promote life-long learning, utilizing skills to enrich and enhance the “complete” person. “Complete” balance in terms of having solid social, emotional, physical, environmental, and healthy stress management skills throughout life.
