A two day clinic will be held on Wed.-Thurs. Aug. 20-21from 6pm-8pm
NOTE: This audition is ONLY for dancers who were unable to tryout in April.

Skills Required
We are creating a diverse team with a wide array of talent. Please note the requirements below. You must be able to perform the following during tryouts:
1. High Kicks (4 consecutive on each side)
2. Single Full Turns
2. Single Full Turns
3. Leap
4. Pom Routine (provided)
5. Hip-Hop Dance (provided)
5. Hip-Hop Dance (provided)
Can't Make a Tryout?
If for some reason you are not able to attend the tryouts, contact the coach/sponsor you can discuss arrangements to send in a skills video. The sooner you arrange for a video to be sent in, the better the chances of the assurance of it being received and reviewed, so that you will be considered for the squad.
Practices
Practice will begin in the second week of August and will be held daily until the start of school. Volleyball matches are likely to be held the last weekend in August. Practice times during the academic year will be scheduled as are sports team practices and participants MUST ARRANGE SCHOOL SCHEDULE around the practice period as do athletes. The practices for the fall and spring of 2008-2009 will are to be announced.

Credit for Participation
Participants will receive credit for their participation in the dance program as it is considered a course. A 1/2 credit will be issued for dance team members for the fall and spring course schedules. Participants must enroll in the course each semester and a letter grade will be issued.

Required Activity for Cheer Leaders/Dance Team and Mascots Attendance at all practices and official events is required. In addition to practices noted above, participation in the following activities at minimum is required:

Community service events throughout the academic year - 9 total
Examples: Permian Basin Fair, Easter Seals Telethon, etc.
